NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION TAPS BTI FOR ACH ORIGINATION
Nation's largest credit union to implement Brinkman's PowerLine ACH Origination
DALLAS (September 29, 1999).Brinkman Technologies, Inc. (BTI) announced today that its PowerLine ACH Origination system has been selected by the Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU), the nation's largest credit union, to enable the origination of electronic transactions.
With PowerLine ACH Origination, Navy Federal will have an efficient means of transferring funds to and from members' accounts at other financial institutions, by Internet request. Beyond simply originating the ACH debit and credit transactions, PowerLine can originate tax payments, process grouped debit or credit transactions (e.g. payroll deposits, quarterly dues, monthly loan payments by date, etc.), and create NACHA formatted files for entry into the Federal Reserve System.
